I have started a new position and found that that have stepped into a Maternity role, that belong to a supervisor from my previous employment I was told this after I gained employment and told that the employee really was not wanted back, Today I was to;d on my day off 24/06/2011 that this employee had come into the office and said that she is the reason I lost that employment, this employee signed my reference stating redundant due GFC and told my current employment I was terminated because I was an unreliable employee and that I have changed my name many times, I have changed my name legal at the request of the police due to bad circumstance and made the official people at my work ware but this employee has told everyone OI work with which is dangerous to the intention on the name change, I’m very uncomfortable now every one is treating me different and having my sick days off I was now asked if I did some thing illegal when I produced a medical certificate. I’m very upset and want to quit but the job is good and I need it.

(this x boss did worst at the former employment in front of everyone she asked if my hair was a wig and if I was drunk or on drugs I’m worried she has said the same here. I have signed a contract to say I’m permanent but on 3 months probation.)
I need to know my rights and what I can do

    Yours truly

I was employed in a local bakery, I started casual work from the first of december 2011. I worked really hard at my job as I was so happy to be working after looking for work for quite some time Then it came to my attention that I was being underpaid I approached my boss explaining that I had soughted information from a fairwork ombudsman that they were not paying me correctly and I was brushed of with a $50 bonus as it was stated. So I continued to still work at my low rate wage this continued through to january 2012 i even worked sundays and saturdays and public holidays right through christmas only receiving a low rate pay of a $15hr solid rate. So i decided to complain to the ombudsman that still nothing had changed. The fairwork ombudsman found that indeed I was being underpaid and I received a backpay amount of $695 being the amount that I was underpaid but then after I was told to come and pick up the money that I was owed I was also told to hand in my uniform since that day i have had not one phone call from my employer I am now out of work again just from pursuing my rights.
